Can I work in the UK outside my own business?
You cannot do any work outside your endorsed business. For example, you may not be employed by another business or company, be it full-time or part-time.
What is the initial duration of the start-up visa and innovator visa?
3 years for innovator visa and 2 years for a start-up visa.
Can I extend my UK visa?
You can apply to extend your stay when your visa is due to expire, or apply for another visa category.
What are shared investment funds?
You can form a team with other Innovator applicants, but you cannot share the same investment funds. Your team must have at least £50,000 for each Innovator applicant. For example, if you have 2 Innovator applicants, your team must have a minimum of £100,000 to invest.
Can my partner and children apply?
Your partner and children can apply to join you or to stay in the UK as your ‘dependents’ if they are eligible.
