The non-lucrative visa is a residence visa that allows non-EU citizens to live in Spain. It offers a unique opportunity to legally reside in Spain as no investment is required. The only condition is that the applicant is able to show that it is possible for them to financially support themselves for the duration of a year without working.

This visa is ideal for those intending on living in Spain without actively working, and also those looking to settle down there as it is possible to transition to a work or entrepreneur permit later on. Family members can also easily be included with proof of sufficient funds.

Only requirement is proof of funds held in the main applicant’s name, of at least:

€28,000 for main applicant
€7,000 for each additional family member
